Dr. Christine Brown

Dr. Christine Brown

"I love dentistry because it combines artistry with science and the opportunity to meet people from all different backgrounds. I love that every day is different and there are always new things to learn."

Dr. Christine Brown is a native Oregonian and received her Bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences from Portland State University. With a desire to be in a profession where she could help people, she attended Oregon Health Sciences University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2001.

Dr. Brown is dedicated to continually improving her skills and staying up to date on the latest techniques. She invests many hours in continuing education each year, attending the prestigious Pankey Institute and Spear Institute. She also enjoys being involved in local study clubs where fellow general dentists and specialists can learn from each other.

A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Brown was also voted one of Portland’s top dentists in Portland Monthly, 2019.

Dr. Brown is married to her high school sweetheart, Jay. They live in Garden Home with their English mastiff Gus, who weighs in at 220 pounds (everybody always asks). When not at work, she is passionate about cooking, enjoys playing the piano, and recently took up trapeze.

I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful service

Far and away the best dentist ever. Visiting Dr. Brown and her staff is more like hanging out with friends than going to a medical appointment. Staci at the front desk and Christina, the hygienist, I see often. I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful service the last 10 or so years. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further!

Welcome back!
We want our patients to be aware that their safety is our primary concern. Our office has placed additional precautions to protect our patients and staff during this unprecedented time. In addition to the recommendations by the ADA (American Dental Association) and CDC (Center for Disease Control), we have implemented the following in our office:
1. The office was recently equipped with HEPA air filtration systems, located in each operatory.
2. An ozone generator is used each evening to disinfect
3. Prior to entering the office, all staff members and patients will complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.
4. Strict rules of social distancing will be followed. Patients will wear masks anywhere outside of the operatory.
5. All surfaces are frequently disinfected throughout the day
We are here to help and look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
